Maintenance Worker Supervisor

In this position you will serve as the Maintenance Worker Supervisor, which is the primary facility maintenance support position at Fossil Butte National Monument. You will operate as a working supervisor in overseeing facility management operations in operations, custodial, maintenance and construction. You will directly supervise one permanent maintenance worker, seasonal workers, YCC enrollees, and contracted youth corp. You will serve as the park's licensed Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for facility project contract work. You will be responsible for the proper care preventive maintenance and accountability of all property, fleet vehicles, and equipment assigned to the maintenance division. Responsible for maintaining the potable water system and septic systems within the park. Responsible for Roads and Trails; Building & Utility functions. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:
Ability to Lead or Supervise (SCREEN OUT) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. Technical Practices/Use of Measuring Instruments Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Materials If your knowledge and ability in the SCREEN OUT factor above is not sufficient, you will receive no further consideration.
